About

Maria "Jackie" Prkic

Founder

Jackie Prkic is a seasoned legal and legislative professional with over three decades of experience in financial crimes prevention, legislative advocacy, and regulatory compliance. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago and legal education from Concord University Law School, Jackie has held pivotal roles in two top-tier law firms, Baker & McKenzie and Dentons US LLP, where she developed AML (Anti-Money Laundering) frameworks and ensured adherence to complex regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Her career also includes a decade in Washington, DC, working for the U.S. House of Representatives, where she gained deep insights into legislative processes and policy development. As a passionate advocate for justice, Jackie lobbied with the Croatian American Association to stop the war of aggression in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, contributing to international peace efforts and amplifying the voice of the Croatian diaspora.

Currently, Jackie is actively pursuing justice as a Pro Se litigant in a whistleblower retaliation lawsuit against Sezzle, Inc., in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado (Case No. 1:24-cv-02624-PAB-NRN), and related proceedings before the United States Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges (ALJ Case No. 2025-SOX-00021) and Administrative Review Board (ARB Case No. 2025-0074). On March 6, 2026, the ARB issued a Decision and Order reversing the ALJ's dismissal of her SOX whistleblower retaliation claim as untimely, granting equitable tolling, and remanding the case for further proceedings—marking a significant victory in her fight to hold corporations accountable for unlawful practices. Additionally, her EEOC charge of discrimination (No. 541-2025-04854) against Sezzle has been forwarded to the Enforcement Unit for investigation.

Inspired by her relentless pursuit of justice, Jackie founded Constitution Law Group to empower others to take control of their legal battles without relying on expensive lawyers who may not always act in their clients’ best interests. Drawing on her extensive expertise and background, Jackie is dedicated to providing the tools, knowledge, and support people need to pursue justice on their terms.

Constitution Law Group is her unwavering commitment to ensuring that everyone—regardless of financial means—can confidently navigate the legal system and fight for their rights.
